Uninstall Git Connector

To uninstall Git Connector:

  1. Uninstall all gitconnectors.

  2. Remove the gconn log files from each git-connector server:

    • /var/log/gconn.log*

    • /var/log/p4gc.log*

  3. Use rm -rf to remove:

    • /etc/rsyslog.d/30-gconn.conf

    • /opt/perforce/git-connector and any files that directory contains

  4. Remove any gitconnector servers from the Commit Server configuration, and then use rm -rf manually to delete any files that remain.

  5. Remove from Helix Core Server the p4 keys, protections, and repos associated with the Git Connectors.

  6. Remove any users and groups added by the git-connector configuration (if they did not exist before), such as the gconn-auth group and its users.
